Throughout DVL’s long relationship with the YWCA, there has been a single focus: helping the YWCA build its local brand image. That goal has taken several forms, most notably through various branding initiatives and events like the Academy for Women of Achievement fundraiser dinner.
But a recent campaign is helping a group of women who often have no voice and no one on their side.
DVL and the YWCA developed a collateral campaign to promote the organization’s domestic abuse hotline as well as the YWCA’s local shelter for women and children who are victims.
Under DVL’s direction, traditional collateral materials were produced to reach a broad audience - flyers, postcards and brochures. The tone of these materials educates the community on what domestic violence is and what resources are available.
The campaign also used non-traditional deliverables targeted to women who may need resources for help. These small and simple items allow vital contact information to be kept near affected women, in a safe and discreet way.
The YWCA provides our community with many resources. Whether it’s workplace speakers working to empower women or staff members taking calls from the domestic abuse hotline, DVL is proud to promote these worthy causes.
