NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 24, 2012)—DVL Public Relations & Advertising has announced the addition of two clients in the energy sector, Piedmont Natural Gas based in Charlotte, N.C., and Jackson Purchase Energy Corp. (JPEC), of Paducah, Ky.

DVL began work for Piedmont earlier this year to assist with communications surrounding a major pipeline project in south Nashville, and has since contracted for broader duties, including promotion of the 60th Annual Nashville Christmas Parade presented by Piedmont.

For JPEC, an electric distribution cooperative in western Kentucky, DVL is developing messaging and communications surrounding electric rates and economic development.

Piedmont and JPEC join a growing list of DVL clients in the energy and utilities sectors. The firm also represents the Tennessee Valley Industrial Committee, the directly-served industrial electricity customers of TVA; the Tennessee Association of Utility Districts, an association of water, wastewater and natural gas utilities; PHG Energy, an energy conversion technology company based in LaVergne, Tenn.; and Harpeth Valley Utilities District, which serves wholesale and retail water and wastewater customers in Davidson and Williamson counties.
