BRENTWOOD, Tenn., (September 27, 2012)—Corizon, the nation’s leader in correctional healthcare solutions, announced today the promotion of Carla Cesario to Senior Vice President of Operations, Community Corrections, effective immediately.
Cesario is now responsible for leading the operations of Corizon’s West, Midwest and Southeast jail divisions. In this role, Cesario will provide leadership in achieving Corizon’s core objectives of delivering quality patient care; partnering with and meeting the expectations of our clients; becoming the healthcare employer of choice; and, being a low cost provider.

Cesario joined Corizon in 1994 as the Statewide Mental Health Director for the company’s contract with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections. Since that time, she has held positions as Health Service Administrator, Regional Vice President, Executive Director of Customer Relations, and most recently served as the Vice President of Operations for the Southeast jail division.
Cesario, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island, as well as a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College. She will report directly to Campbell in her new role.
