COOKEVILLE TRACTOR SUPPLY COMPANY STORE MANAGER FEATURED ON NATIONAL RURAL-LIVING TV SHOW

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (Sept. 25, 2012)—The new Brewton, Ala., Tractor Supply Company store will hold its grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 29, with specially priced merchandise Sept. 27 – 30, according to Store Manager Rory Faist. The store officially opened for business Sept. 22.
The Brewton location is Tractor Supply Company’s 40th store in Alabama and employs 12 team members. The facility has 18,270 square feet, including sales floor and support service space.
Tractor Supply Company is the largest retail farm and ranch supply store chain in the United States and has been operating in Alabama since 1997.
“Brewton is a great location for Tractor Supply Company because community members live the lifestyle that our products cater to,” said Faist. “We have something here for everyone. Our friendly, knowledgeable team is excited to help our neighbors and provide the legendary Tractor Supply customer service.”
Faist joined Tractor Supply in February as a manager-in-training at the Pensacola, Fla., location. Prior to joining Tractor Supply, he spent five year working for Target. The Spring Valley, N.Y., native grew up working on a dairy farm. He studied industrial engineering at the University of West Florida. Faist is also a military veteran and enjoys hiking and camping.
As store manager, Faist oversees all store operations, including receiving, inventory control and merchandising, as well as customer and team member relations.
To celebrate the grand opening of the store, shoppers will receive 10 percent off their first purchase, up to $100, from Sept. 27 – 30, and can enter to win prizes including store gift cards, pet feed, clothing, power tools, a 22-ton log splitter and a chain saw. Free Tractor Supply Company baseball-style hats will also be given away while supplies last.
On Saturday, the grand opening event will feature multiple organizations hosting horse, dog and cat adoptions. The event will also feature the local high school FFA group with animals, Pizza Pro providing free pizza and Coyote Country 106.3 FM with a live radio remote from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Regular operating hours for the store, located in the former Winn-Dixie space at 1730 Douglas Ave., are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
