DVL always looks forward to helping with The Driver’s Edge National Tour events. Not only are these sessions a great way to promote a client (Bridgestone Americas, presenting partner of Driver’s Edge), they also support an important cause.
Motor vehicle crashes are the number one killer of America’s teenagers, and Driver’s Edge exists to combat that sad statistic. Two-day courses are held in 18 cities throughout the country where teens between 15 and 21 are taught defensive driving techniques. Half of the course is taught in classrooms and the other half is taught behind the wheel on both dry and wet courses. Professional racecar drivers ride shotgun for the driving portion to offer hands on support and teaching.
